Synopsis
Singapore heartthrob Desmond Tan 陈泂江 and Taiwanese goddess (女神) 安心亞 Amber An pair up for the very first time as groom and bride-to-be in THE BIG DAY《简单的婚礼》 Told in reverse chronology, the movie revolves around the nuptial preparation of Su Yu (安心亞 Amber An), a free-spirited personal trainer and diving instructor and Nuo Yan (Desmond Tan 陈泂江), a modern funeral director. All they want is a simple wedding but reality turns out to be the complete opposite! The couple’s love is put to test as they endure their supposed big day ruined by family and friends with good intentions, an unrelenting debt collector and the sudden death of someone special. Will their marriage lead to a happily-ever-after, or a complete messed-up disaster?
